The conductor also celebrated his 10-year anniversary. The Thurgau Youth Orchestra celebrated sparkling joy in playing even minor tones, masterly skill and collective virtuosity with an outstanding solo performance (Thomas Grossenbacher, cello) on this late summer Sunday evening: at the first concert of its autumn tour – with an identical program – in the former factory hall in Arbon’s Saurer WerkZwei.<\/p>\n

Once again, almost a year after the inauguration of the Presswerk cultural center, the multifunctionality of the converted brick industrial building was impressively confirmed. As in the Arbon music school next door \u2013 one of around a dozen musical talent factories in the canton \u2013 groovy rock and subtle to opulent classical music have no reservations here.<\/p>\n
