Invitation to concerts: Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra is enthusiastic about Thurgau Orchestra

The Thurgau Youth Orchestra is travelling to Neubrandenburg today with a piece as demanding as Brahms’ Fourth Symphony. Christoph Streuli, violinist with the Berlin Philharmonic, speaks very appreciatively of the work of the young musicians.

Christoph Streuli has been a violinist with the Berlin Philharmonic since 1997. He spent his youth in Amriswil. He studied with the legendary violinist Aida Stucki, who also taught Anne-Sophie Mutter. Streuli got his hands on the CD on which the Thurgau Youth Orchestra, under its conductor Gabriel Estarellas, recorded Pascual Dvořák’s Ninth Symphony “From the New World”.
