The city has awarded musician Gabriel Estarellas Pascual the Amriswil Culture Prize, while Monika and Urs Laib received the recognition prize.
AMRISWIL. The significance of the Amriswil Culture Prize for the exceptional musician Gabriel Estarellas Pascual was clearly demonstrated at the award ceremony on Tuesday evening in the Culture Forum. The violinist and conductor was so moved that his words literally stuck in his throat when he received the Culture Prize. It was also very emotional when the Culture Commission informed him that he was receiving the 2016 Culture Prize, said Andreas Müller, Amriswil’s cultural representative and moderator of the evening.
