With its spring concerts, the Thurgau Youth Orchestra shows its skills and brings the audience closer to its passion for music
“He places value on quality, is very motivating and takes both beginners and advanced players into consideration.” This is how cellist Elias Wendel describes the conductor and artistic director of the Thurgau Youth Orchestra. Gabriel Estarellas Pascual took over the JOTG in 2008.
His awareness of quality, his motivation and consideration took the orchestra further. In 2013, Pascual received the Canton of Thurgau’s Cultural Promotion Prize and since 2015 the orchestra has played in a symphonic formation.
